Great news…the North Cascades Highway is open early!

As of April 23rd Highway 20, the North Cascades Highway between Burlington and Mazama, was cleared and open and ready for visitors to the Methow Valley! This road, if you haven’t been on it before, is one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Visitors from Europe and Asia have driving on it on their bucket lists because it is so extraordinary. For those of you on the West side of Washington, it may be more familiar, but it sure is a quick, gorgeous way to get to one of your favorite places.

So don’t be a stranger…come visit soon! If you enjoy spring hiking, biking, lake fishing, golf or just plain old goofing off it is a great time to come.
